My new puppy is crapping dark green poop. He just started last night and this morning. I gave him Evo Innova?

puppy food (wet). Could this be the cause of it?
Answers:
I use Innova Dog food, and I noticed that when I fed my pup ONLY wet food .. her poo was so gross. So I just mixed up some dry Innova WITH wet Innova. She doesnt eat just dry food so the wet helped with her poo and she loves it.
no canned food.. no reason to feed that... try dry kibble only
Any time you give your pup new food its going to react to it. It's probably the food butyou should really get the pup into the vets for a check up and his shots too.
FOOD IS TOO STRONG FOR HIM, TRY THE SMALL BREED FOOD, IT HAS SMALLER PIECES, ALWAYS DRY FOOD, BE CAREFUL OF THE BRAND YOU PICK, READ THE LABELS, AND ALSO, WHEN TRAINING USE AKC, TREATS, BETTER AND LESS SALT, THE MORE SALT IN THE TREATS THE MORE WATER THE PUPPY DRINKS, THE MORE ACCIDENTS TO CLEAN. :)
HE IS HAD CHEESE
His liver is having trouble with the new food.
Since this is a new puppy, the seller should have given you a supply of the food that the puppy was on before you got him. It is very important to continue with that food for 4 or 5 days before making any food changes.New puppies and food changes can be too stressful and even cause death. You must remember that you and your entire household are all new to him. That requires some mental time for a puppy to take in, and most will loose their appetite as part of the adjustment. Continue with the old food, and you will notice that he will likely resume eating after a day or so.If the seller did not give you a supply of food, call as ask what they used and ask for a small supply for a couple days. Responsible stores and breeders always send some food with a puppy. Make no food changes until he gets accustomed to his new home and starts eating normally.

You don't say why you chose Innova--perhaps for no particular reason just trying to find something he will try. If that is the case, wait and go back to square one. I

You probably gave him too much too soon. You should mix the Innova with his old food for a couple days if you plan to continue with the Innova--70 % old food to 30% Innova for 2 days, then 50/50 for 3 days, then 70/30 a couple days.
Evo Innova is a very good food and is high in protien. I use it on nursing moms to help their nursing needs. I mix it with what ever kibble they are used to.
If you switched food all at once then you just shocked his little system and it needs to adjust to the new food. You could try mixing the food with some kibble. Innova does make a good kibble. Just wet food is not the best idea.
You could also just wait a few days and see if it resloves by itself.
You should also have your vet run a fecal flotation on some poop to check for parasites. This should be done with any pup if it has not already.
If he is otherwise active, eating and has a clear fecal flotation and, after a few days, still has green poops then the food may not be right for him even if it is an excellent food.
take it to the vet.
