I have a dog who has awfull wind some breeds are apparantly worse than others mine too is on bakers when i went to see the owner of the pet shop where i get his food from he suggested charcoal biscuits they are just like a bonio my dog enjoys them and one a day works for our obi.
his food could be too rich for him.
It could be because he gobbles his food and takes in a lot of air while eating. Try feeding him smaller amounts but more often
You might try a different dog food and see if it changes.
I have never heard of that food before, but it may well be the cause of the problem.
Yes it has to do with the food. There are so many fillers in dog food that the fiber causes gas buildup. Try switching to a high quality food without all the fillers. Human quality dog food which has high protein is the best.
that might be the case, we did it with out dogs when they were puppies, but we eventually stopped feeding them Bakers puppy food because it gave them bad wind, after this, they were perfectly fine.
see below. Diet/exercise are the key.
Not sure what Food that is. Watch for a high corn content. You're probably in the UK. Call your vet up. Get the puppy checked for parasites.
CHANGE FOOD.
Does he have soft poo??? I had a real problem with my puppy Westie and he had terrible wind and always soft poo so I changed his food to NATUREDIET PUPPY and he has not farted since and that was 5 weeks ago and his poo is normal too! I researched a lot of this on this internet but I would say of all the foods I tried this was the best and it's a natural and holistic food! if you do change his diet remember to introduce the new food gradually over a period of 5-7 days.
Bad wind or bloat? And has he been wormed. I would say your puppy isn't being fed the correct diet? And could be wormy. Ring the breeder who should have advised you what to feed him until he is 12 months of age and get advice or contact your vet?

Nothing wrong with raw meat or cooked chicken with boiled rice or pasta. Just don't give him junk food That gives him gas? Depending on his age he should only be getting small meals several times a day until he reaches at least six months. Pups are greedy and often over eat, or eat anything they think is edible, like shoes, paper etc.
I don't know what "bakers puppy dog food" is but if it's wet dog food, that will do it every time. It's disgusting and makes dogs fart. Put him back on (good quality) dry food and see if that helps.
Any food too high in either carbs or fats causes gas. It's a natural reaction of the body to digesting those foods. Read the label and try to find foods higher in protein lower in grains.

Pedigree is terrible for gas. It has way to much grain. I've never heard of Baker food, but check the label.
i to have a puppy on bakers puppy food, shes been on it for a week and i have been told that the reason shes doing stinkys is because her diet has been changed and it will settle! all i know is from dog experience is that it is better to have your dog on dry food with access to water as it makes their poos more solid and easier to clean up and apparently contains more healthy ingredients, as i write this perdy has just done a stinky, i am off for some fresh air!
my puppy is on bakers complete and i haven't noticed him having wind but my collie suffers from wind and always has so i think some dogs just get wind when i was a kid i had a black lab and he suffered from wind to so it might just be something you have to get used to
