My pup is having accidents?

we just had our female spayed today, she is 6m old and she is peeing and doesnt seem to notice. i figure its the meds from the surgery but i just wanted to know if anyone else has seen this. should i get sanitary pads or something just untill shes awake enought to tell us she needs to go.
Answers:
She should be back to normal by tomorrow, if she is still being incontinent tomorrow ring your vet. You will probably find she is still to groggy from the surgery to alarm you. But in a small amount of cases dogs can become incontinent after spaying, it can be rectified.
Good Luck
that is very normal. It can last for days. If you were a woman and had a baby you would understand. You can put some pads on her if you like. Just make sure you change them often. And the vets don't tell you but put some triple antibiotic on her stitches. it will keep them from getting to dry and pulling. Also heal any infection that she may have got. She should be back to normal again in a bit. try to keep her as calm as possible.
