My puppy got stepped on by accident and I don't know if anything serious happened.?

She still seems to be happy and I took her out for a walk to see if there was any limping. Luckily there was no limping of any sort. She seems tired but thats usual of her because thats how she is since she's still a puppy right now and they need a lot of rest. She is about 3.5 months right now. But sometimes when I am about to carry her, she yelps! But sometimes she doesn't. I feel for any abnormal lumps that could result in broken bones or anything. Luckily, there wasn't. She just sometimes yips when i carry her sometimes. I believe that this is due to stress. Will she get better after a few days? Maybe she just had a phobia of getting near feet now or something and is still in great shock.

Maybe it is but I would take her to the vet for an exam just to make sure.
AW WW I'm so sorry. Let a vet respond to a question like that

Hope the puppy feels better!
You may want to take her to the vet for a once over anyway.
She could have a strained muscle or wrenched back causing her pain.
if she is a small dog, they seem to learn fast to get out of the way, just try to be more careful. the yelp when you pick her up . YOU may have startled her or just hurt her a little when u scooped her up fast so slow down and be more cautious . this doesnt help me out as i step on mine she is all black lol
you should take her to be examined, but most likely shes fine.
For her good health and your peace of mind, take her to her vet's office as soon as possible and let them check her over. Don't trust your puppy's well-being to websites and people with nothing better to do on a Saturday night than to give you bad advice. You and she will sleep better once you know for sure.
You might have bruised her bone or something, maybe that's why she yelps, but if it continues for 3 or 4 days then take her to the vet to get an x-ray, just to be safe, because it could also be a fracture of the bone or something along the lines of that.
Unfortunately, pets cannot tell us what's wrong.

The only way you can get her thoroughly checked is to take her to the vet.

But if she's fine, I'm sure she's going to be OK. But I also have a problem a bit like that (no, no one stepped on me!)... I'm perfectly fine but when I do this one thing (toe touches in cheerleading) I strain something and it hurts a lot. Take your dog to the vet, especially because she's still young.

And she might be a bit phobic now. Just try to ease her into your arms and reassure her that you would never hurt her. There's no way to make her feel more comfortable in your arms.

Maybe she's afraid another person will step on her?
Uh, you may want to take her to the vet.
Back in December I had a litter of purebred Basset Hound puppies...and welp one of them broke his leg. Luckily we noticed there was something not quite right and we took him to the vet. Well he had a mighty fine fracture and was suppose to wear a cast for about two months or so. Well the vet ended up screwing up his knee tendons by putting his cast on too tight and .yeah.
The point of the story is there COULD be something seriously wrong. Spend the few bucks and be a nice owner.
I hope there isn't anything wrong with her though!
You sould keep a pretty close eye on her for a few days, also make sure she is not only eating and drinking, but also going to the bathroom. If she yelps for more than a day or two, you should take her to the vet. She may just be a little bruised. I am sure she will be fine. Good luck to you and her both.
Get thee to a vet!
It's always best to take the puppy to the vet if you're in doubt.
If she is not limping and there is no swelling she's probably OK. The yelping when picked up could be alot of things. She could have some bruising depending how hard she got stepped on, could be how you pick her up, what area of her body you use to pick her up, if she's just done eating and her tummy is full or has to go potty, she may have worms if you have'nt already wormed her. So many, many things. If she continues to cry when you pick her up, please take to the vet. Puppies that are 31/2 months old are usually pretty lively and into everything. Good Luck Honey.
Take her to see a canine chiropractor or physical therapist right away. These are people who work with dogs who compete in sports. To find one, do a Google search :
