My puppy constantly whines..?

My puppy won't stop whining! It's two months old and I keep it inside and out. No matter where it is, once you leave it, it whines forever. I spend a lot of time with her.. but I have other things to do too. >%26lt; Help me?!!!

I have a 4month old collie x whom we had since she was 12wks and 14wk old husky pup that we had since she was 9wks and when we 1st got her she would always cry, she would wake up and notice we wasn't there and cry and like you say no matter what we did with her she cried. If you think about it in the wild when they are stuck in there den and there parents go hunting they cry for the mother all the time, the second they are allowed out of the den they stop the whimpering, She is just crying to get the rest of her packs attention, soon she will relise that the other pack she left is not coming back and you are her new pack now and to make it in the world she has to work with you. Don't worry it does stop lol but she is still a young puppy and this is all new to her and untill she works it out she'll cry. Just give her loadsa hugs and reasure her, but not to much as you don't want to be praising her for the noise either.
You can always get her some puppy toys that hide tasty smelly things in so it will keep her occupied and take her mind of it.
Good luck mate it does get better x
ok your puppy is still thinking that mamy is going to come to him or her when it whines the more you comfart her/him it should carm down with in time sometimes they do it for attencion its a part of growing up that every puppy duss if you need any more help just ask
it's possible that shes sick or doesn't feel good. try moving all her legs and touching her tummy to make sure shes not in any pain.. otherwise she is just a whiny dog and you have to ignore her when she does that so she can get over it... make sure she has lots of toys
I have a five month old that whines a lot. I have not figured it out either. It has slowed down, and i spend more time away from him now. Puppy sleep overs have helped a lot. A lady in his puppy kindergarten leaves her puppy with us for a weekend, and then we leave him with her for a weekend. The puppies are together to make it fun and pleasend, but no mom's. The first time was tough on her, as my puppy whined his **** off the first couple of hours. He also woke her in the night whining. Now, he still does some, but not as much. He is going to go stay with her next weekend again.
It was hard to find someone i like and trust to leave my puppy with. I like her and i know her training style after watching her with her dog in class and all. It was worth the seperation anxiety for both the puppy and myself.

whining at 8 weeks old is normal, but when they are 4 months old, find someone to take them for a bit. Also, puppy kindergarten will be a good thing for your puppy. Enroll around 12 weeks. Just be patience and never yell, just comfort or ignore.
I'm afraid you have to be cruel to be kind. There are so many places where you can't take dogs, and your dog has to get used to being left alone at some stage. Make sure it has everything it needs (comfortable bed, food, water, toys) and harden your heart to ignore the whining. If you respond every time - and I bet you've been doing that, haven't you?! - the dog learns to carry on whining, and you will have this problem for as long as you have the dog (10-plus years!). Good luck!
i read somewhere that if your puppy still whines, you should put a warm water bottle under its blanket with a ticking clock for it to think that it is its mother's heart beating...i haven't tried it yet coz never in my life have i owned a dog, but it wouldn't hurt to try it out with these simple household stuff...
your puppy is home sick and misses his litter.love on the puppy when you can. when you are busy get a clock that ticks, and wrap the clock with a towel and put it with puppy, you could also try a warm water bottle in a towel. your puppy will soon calm down and then you will have a happy puppy with happy people. enjoy.
