My puppy doens't poo outside?

I have a 7 month pld cocker spaniel and he's still not going to the toilet outside.
Yet, the minute we get home he'll go immediately.
He's trained to go to the toilet for a wee on the closed balcony but he insists on pooing in the house, always in 1 of 3 places most of the time.
Any advice welcome.

i have 3 pups and they all do the same as your pup.when ur pup has more confidence it will go outside.dont worry.stay out longer whith your pup it will eventually go.
put paper or dog towels, down where he normally spoils then gradually move it closer to the outside door!!
Clean those 3 places with enzyme-based cleaners (so it doesnt have the right scent which makes him want to go there again).
Then everytime he is about to poo inside, pick him up %26 run outside with him. If he does anything outside, make a fuss %26 give him a tasty treat. Don't fuss him until he does something. If he doesn't do anything, wait a few minutes %26 take him back inside again.
Even if he has *just* finished having a poo inside, still rush him outside for a couple of minutes. Make sure you dont play with him when you have taken him outside until he goes to the toilet though.
Eventually he will associate pooing, with being outside (%26 not inside!)
the next time he goes inside the house...take a paper towel and collect it...place it outside in an area that you want him to go...when it is time for him to go outside he will pick up the smell and start to know that is where he goes
Poor you and poor doggy! I would bring him outside and keep him outside for a very long time. Maybe 10-15 minutes every 10 minutes. It does seem like a pain but he WILL go when he is outside. Right after he eats, wait for maybe 15 minutes and take him outside for longer. He will go outside if that is his only option. Give him plenty of treats and lots of praise when he does go outside. If you give him lots of attention (negative attention) when he goes inside, it may not do much because he is still getting the attention he wants. Just remember, outside for VERY long periods of time!! Good luck.
Every time he pees outside give him a small treat. Put those puppy pads down in the area where he usually goes in the house, or even newspaper and keep moving them closer and closer to the door. With that and a treat every time he will get the hang of it real quick!
Your puppy has to go potty on a balcony?
Have your tied taking the puppy out for a walk when you think it is time for him to go potty???

I almost know the exact time my 4 month old Lab puppy has to go poop!! About 20 minutes after she has eaten she will have to go poop!! I trained our puppy to go outside on a leash. I walk her around till she is finished!!

If you know the places your puppy does his business then when you see him go toward those spots then pick him up and take him outside!!!
Have your tried puppy pads??? That might help. The puppy pads have a smell on them that will draw puppies to the pad and they will go. Just a thought!!

Good LUCK!

P.S. Puppies and dogs become confused when they have to pee or poop on a surface they are not familiar with.
Hey my brother just got a new puppy n she is doin the same thing so wehave started to take her out with my dog and it seems to work as she sees him doing it . You could also tell him he's a good boy when ever he does it.

While this may be the most disgusting stain to have to deal with, thankfully it is relatively easy to remove. As with vomit, scrape off any excess and then soak the garment in a solution of detergent and warm water or borax and warm water (see above for solution composition) - either of these will help to loosen the stain. Following this, wash the garment in the hottest wash possible with that fabric and use a biological laundry detergent if possible. For carpets, follow the same steps with the detergent or borax and warm water - and then carpet shampoo if necessary
THE ABOVE IS OFF THE ABOVE SITE LISTED THEY HAVE A LOT OF GOOD IDEAS ABOUT REMOVING STAINS %26 SMELLS.

I use bicarbonate of soda even though it is used for baking it has full instructions on the back to use as a cleaner.
When I was house training my pup if it missed the paper it was getting trained on I would use that %26 it removed the smell so the dog could not smell were it had been.
When I was training my pup, I only had paper down @ night time.
I use to take my pup out every time after meals etc when it woke up but they were the main times other than that I took my pup outside every 10 mins to see if it needed out %26 even though it sounds nutty I went to the door %26 lifted the dogs foot %26 scratched the door, It learned if it scratched the door I knew it wanted out . You can get some spray that you spray on the paper/training pads whatever your using %26 it suppose to attract the pup to the paper.
