Please start searching the internet on dog training. That's all he is missing is a lot of serious training. He's been permitted to do what he wants to do, and you need to do a search on "alpha training" so you can teach him you are boss. Then search again ; there is invaluable, wonderful training advice on the net. Go read these questions and answers that other people have send in and have been answered. Many of the problems you have, they have had and have gotten answers right here.

The money only begins when you purchase the dog. You bought him; you promised you would keep him for his lifetime. In order to keep him, you MUST educate yourself on how to train him or go to a trainer. Even going to a Petsmart or Petco, which is very inexpensive, is better than doing nothing.

You owe this poor pup a lot! He came into your home with an open mind and no bad habits. So, I'm sorry to tell you, but this is your fault that you didn't learn about dogs before your spent your money on a puppy. I am a trainer, and from what you have said, this dog isn't doing ANYTHING that would warrant his being destroyed! Good grief, he's just being a normal, totally untrained dog. You can't "guess" how to stop biting your hand and your clothing; you have to know the RIGHT way to teach the dog to stop doing that. He sounds like a great dog; you're very lucky to have him.

I bet you haven't had him neutered yet either. Please do that right away.

OBEDIENCE CLASSES MY DEAR! That is what Dog trainers are for. They are here to help you and to save lives. The #1 cause of Dogs going to the shelter are behavioral problems. Take the responsibility to take him to a class. That is how you will learn how to deal with him. The trainer will answer all your questions. PetSmart courses are excellent as long as you do your part.
OMG, you shouldn't kill the dog!!! TRAIN HIM. If you cannot handle it give him to a loving family who does not want to kill him. You seriously need to give this dog to someone who cares and has time to do training with him.
its only natural for a puppy to chew.you have to buy him chew toys at the pet store.thats a big dog to be using the bathroom in the house he needs to b taught to wait and go outside. you have to set up a routine for him and you.animals require alot of attention a dog is like a child, you have to plan before getting them.as far as putting him to death run an ad in the paper im pretty sure someone would be glad to take him off your hands.its not the dogs fault! you need to take prior proper plannin before you think about another pet.
Puppies are very frustating and time consuming. You should have read more into a puppy before buying one. It's easy to get mad at them but it isn't your puppy's fault you bought something you can't take care of. Killing something isn't the answer just because you can't deal with it. That's just wrong and you shouldn't even think of such an answer! Give him away to a family who CAN instead, if he's that much trouble!

Your mother didn't harm or think about killing you when you were a baby, just because you were very time consoming, and didn't know what was allowed and what wasn't. I hate how people think just because they're animals you can do whatever you want with them. Instead of being negative, you should be postive! If you want your dog to pay attention to you so you can proply teach him - give him treats to get him to listen. When he does good reward with a treat and praise. If he's going to the bathroom inside, you should take him outside more but not for long hours. Watch over him and if he starts acting like he's going to potty pick him up and put him outside. For everytime he goes potty outside, praise and give him a treat!
Shepherds are territorial and stubborn. You need to TRAIN the dog, and stimulate the dog.

Perhaps he doesnt understand you, because if you write like you sound, I bet it sounds like you have a mouth full of marbles.

Get him training now, untrained GSDs can lead to a world of trouble.
