My male miniature schnauzer wont finish the job when breeding.?

I have two miniature schnauzers both 1 year and have been trying to breed them. He seems to find every thing ok but just doesn't seem to want to finish. What can I do to help?

Yikes.. no wonder, they are both too young to be breeding.. Have you done ANY research at all before taking on this??? They are like little 13 year old kids, and you want them to breed and produce a litter??
The female should be 2 yrs old before she's bred. The male could wait another 6 months, too. He might not be 'ready' yet.
You should wait until your female is at least 2 years old before you breed. 1 is to young, that is like a 7 year old having kids.

I doubt that is why he isn't finishing the job. He might have stage Fright and doesn't want to preform in front of an audience. try leaving them alone and check in every 30-45 minutes. If they are successfully you will Catch them in a dog knot. Also she might not be far enough into her heat and he is just playing around. other then that I don't know what to tell you, I am not sure how you can "help" This one is all up to him!
If you don't know the answers to basic breeding questions, you shouldn't be breeding your dogs.

A qualified breeder does months of research before attempting to produce a litter. They also understand that there is a cost involved in breeding and that one does so in order to improve the breed, not to make a profit.

Check out the AKC's website regarding the steps it takes to become a qualified breeder and then decide whether or not you're ready to pursue a litter.
DP, I love your sarcasm. :]

Yes, you should wait until 2 or more years before breeding a female. She might not be fully developed before then, and that might cause some complications in the birthing process.

Please make sure you do a lot of research on breeding before you do so! Only breed dogs if you know exactly what to look for, after you've consulted with breeders on the best methods, and only if you're dedicated to the breed, and not the money.
i breed scnauzers and u need to wait till they are two years old thats how long it will take the boy to get really interested. he wont be able to perform well and its not a great idea and if anyone told u different theya re morons. ask any schnauzer breeder.
