I'm always brushing him. We can't pet him with out getting a hand full of hair. He is a inside dog.

Excessive shedding may be the result of a dietary imbalance. Your dog may not be getting enough fatty acids in its diet.
Here's an article addressing potential solutions to excessive shedding and how to address regular shedding.

Dogs shed, there is nothing you can do, other than getting rid of the dog.
It's shedding season. It happens
Brush your dog. I use a deshedder that helps put out the shedding undercoat too which works great. Make sure you are not feeding table scrapes. Dogs are not built to digest a large variety of foods like humans. Salty foods can cause shedding and even lead to other diseases. Stay on a consistent diet and there are always supplements that you can give to your dog such as salmon oil.
Take him to a groomer and have them clip him.or they will rake him!
Do you use a rake on him so you can get through the coat, down to the undercoat and get all the dead hair out? That will help - you just need to live through shedding season by grooming him thoroughly every day. If your dog will let you, a vaccuum is great for getting hair out.
Brush him and brush him til you can't brush him anymore... He needs to get out that winter coat..
Give him some Omega 3 capsules each day to help with the coat and skin.. Then go back outside and brush him once more..
go to a tack store and get a shedding blade, this should be done about twice a week and you will get more of the loose hair out then brushing alone.
Wow, you are brave for having a Husky in your home..Im not acquainted with labs, but i do know Huskies shed all summer long..The best thing you can do is get him sheared all the way down...Otherwise you are going to have the hair all over everything...Good luck to you...
take him to the vet fast before someone reports abuse on you
The mix of lab and husky would be the hariest animal on earth and would blow coat twice per year and shed all year long.
Labs shed all the time and huskys blow coat twice per year.
If you did not lkie dog hair why did you get that breed.
Get a furminator brush and use it on him several times per week.
The furminator comb takes out the hair better than anything I have used. But with that mix you are still going to have some hair.
DO NOT SHAVE HIM!
Neither breed is meant to be shaved. The husky coat is made to act as a cooling agent as well as protect them from cold.
Shaving a dog increases its risk of skin cancer if its out in the sun for any length of time.
A shaved dog will often have fur grow in thicker than before.
Huskies shed. Period. You get used to it or you don't have a husky.
To make it easier, get a rake and rake all the undercoat out. You can also give him a warm bath to loosen some of the hair. If your dog will stand for it, use a shop vac and just suck as much hair off of him as you can.
