Yeah, that's what males do... They cry, and they whine and they complain, and they are waiting for just that opportunity to get what they want.. That's why if you hate whining and crying your dogs should be spayed/neutered. Ya got another week at least of his crying.. probably isn't eating much either... Can't sleep well.. He can't get her out of his head ! :) Spay / Neuter your pets!
maybe she said something romantic to him.. or the lighting could be just right.. I wish I could figure out dogs sometimes..
Or you could get them fixed and not have to worry about it
cover the affected dogs in maple syrup or honey (depending on your personal preference), and serve them with butter, eggs (scrambled is my favorite!), and a bread product (i like biscuits).

its best to eat the dogs as soon as they are doused, as they tend to run around and get crap stuck to them when they are covered in honey and/or syrup.

i hope this helps.
Well since your female is in heat, I assume that she's not spayed. My female puppy just had her first heat and it seemed like it took forever to subside. If your male dog isn't fixed then I wouldn't leave them alone together. What you should do, and I know it's gonna sound weird, is put a pair of old underwear on your dog. Or go out and buy a package of cheap tighty whiteys. Just cut a hole for her tail to stick out. It will keep the male from getting to her and also keep her from bleeding all over the place, cause she's gonna lick it raw and it will bleed everywhere. Baby diapers work as well.
It's because she is ready to be bred and he knows it. A female dog's heat is 3 weeks the second week into it is when she's ovulating. So if you don't want puppies keep them apart. To be safe two more weeks. Hope this helps.
You should split them up for a few weeks because if not, you will end up with un-planned puppies! If you have friends or relatives that know the dogs then you should ask them if they are willing to take one of them on for a few weeks until the female is out of season/heat.
He has sensed she is ready for mating, ovulation normally happens any day from day 9 onwards. Unless you intend on having puppies make sure they are kept apart for at least another week. You will probably find he will go off his food for a few days.
Good Luck.
he is doing what any male dog would do, there is nothing wrong with him. She will be in season a bit longer, you will need to keep them apart, which i no is hard, but, if you dont , it won't take him long to get to her. Keep them apart, if possable some where he cant see her.
He's got the case of "blue balls"
He wants %26 she's not putting out.
I've yet to find a dog that hasn't whined upon their fellow female dogs being in heat.
well after being in season, your female is now in full heat, which basically means she is now ready to breed, your male dogs knows this and thats why he's whining, brace yourself, you have roughly one to two more weeks of this, before it is safe to allow them back together again, unless of course you are trying to breed them,oh yes and the whining gets worst, and sometimes resorts to howling as well,

She is ready to be bred and I bet you have figured that out on your own.

I wonder how you are getting any sleep !

Can you take your male to someone in your family, a friend, or a boarding kennel for the next 10 days ? Or take him to your vet and have him neutered now !

Make sure that the male and female are TOTALLY separated so there is no accidental breeding. I would not even have both in the same house, because the male could chew threw the door, etc.

Next, get both neutered after the female is out of season !

If there is an accidental breeding, you can go ahead and spay the female and end the possibility of pups ! Tell your vet what happened; it will cost a little more, but she will be fine.
talk with your vet
That's because she is now at thee stage of her season when she is ready to be mated and he knows. If you are not planning a litter of puppies I suggest that you keep them apart, preferably in separate rooms and keeps a very close eye on the two of them. If she is 2 weeks into her season you probably have another couple of days before she starts to go off the boil and things get back to normal. A season usually lasts about 3 weeks with the vital time being anything from the 12 to 17th day! Depends at lot on your *****, some peak earlier than others
