I dont know what to do for him. Is there something I can give him to help? I also had to change his dog food last week due to allergies , could that be it? will it pass? sorry hes my baby

A vet should check him over just to be sure. But it appears that with the recent change in his food, it is most likely a gastro-intestinal issue. Changing food should be done gradually over time so you don't upset the little one's tummy. You should mix the old food and new food together, eventually add more of the new food and less of the old food until finally you are only feeding the new food. Seeing as his shots were given on the 12th, the likely hood of a vaccine reaction at this point would be extremely rare. Since I am unsure of what his allergies entail, you could try using a bland diet if he isn't allergic to foods. Chicken breast, ground hamburger (all meat cooked of course and without seasoning) along with noodles, rice or cottage cheese will help calm his tummy.
It sounds really serious. You should call your vet. They take emergency calls. He might have food poisoning from something he ate,but there are a lot of diseases with these symptoms and I'm not qualified to give you an exact answer.
Something is wrong with the dog, if he is coming out of both ends. He may have a bad stomach problem, if he doesn't eat. Find another Vet and go in for an emergency visit, and X-rays, if needed. Your dog could get dehydrated very quickly. Tell the new Vet about the shots, allergies, and history.
do you not have vet emergency clinics where you live? If so I would take the puppy there sounds like it needs help now not on monday or ask the SPCA if you can bring it in call them %26 find out
good luck
STOP THE FOOD!!! Boil white rice with a little bit of grated carrot and chicken. NO fat, no oil, a little salt. Give him that. Stop any medicine he`s taking as well for the allergies. Keep a look out if he`s got fever, (ears get hot and nose very dry and cold). Keep on the look out that he does not stop drinking, its important!. Keep him out of cold areas as well. Go to a pet store and see if you can get a tube of intestinal lubricant (its a paste which helps his system take in food) And Monday go to the VET.
My 9 month old French Mastiff had similiar problems after I changed his diet abruptly. He ate only lightly, and had watery stool.
Diffucult to tell the problem, since he had two recent changes to his system (Vaccine/New food).

Give him penty of water, and get him to the vet Monday..
If you had him checked last week he could of picked it up after.Give him Pedylite(not sure of the spelling)he could be dehydrated.
He could have had an allergic reaction to the shots. In this case you should call the vet's emergency number.

Or it could be the quick change in his food. Usually I would suggest slowly changing the food (mixing it and then adding less and less of the old food), however if you changed it due to allergies this is not the right solution for you. In your case, I would see if he starts getting any better and keep feeding him the new food. If he shows no change, you may want to call an emergency vet.

Maybe you could give the dog some plain white rice. Don't add any butter, salt, etc. to the water. Just make it plain. Rice really helps with settling a dogs stomach.

When you do go back to the vet, ask about giving your dog peptobismol for him tummy when it gets like that.
The food could be it but the dog really needs a vet. I would strongly suggest you either go to an emergency vet or take the dog to any local vet to get help for the poor guy.
My 5 month old Great Dane/ Mastiff did that too. Her little stomach just can't handle the vaccinations very well. (but my dog did it the day of her vaccines not a week later) My vet said to just make sure she drinks plenty of water ( so she doesn't get dehydrated) and to not feed her for a day. Then the second day to(in small amounts) increase her food.
If he doesn't throw up then you can start feeding him normally again. If he continues take him to an emergency clinic because dogs can dehydrate quickly and it will be way more costly if you wait till Monday. Just keep him hydrated!
How quickly did you change his diet? That could also be the problem. Dogs stomachs are sensitive so when switching foods you should do it slowly (1-2 wks) by incorporating the new food with the old food. Every few days add a little more new food than old, then only give the new food.
Hope this helped! Good Luck... I know how you feel.
It Could still be an allergic reactionn to his shots, call the vet and at least let them know whats going on.if its not an allergic reaction then they will suggest you coming in. If it is then the allergy need to be listed in his file.

Make sure he's drinking! Thats most important...YOU HAVE TO MAKE SURE HE STAYS HYDRATED! (You can give pedialyte to get some electrolytes in his system until you can get to the vet) Take the food away untill his stomach is settled. (Be advised that you should never abruptly change your dogs food. always weam them off of it. However that could still be the problem be the problem.)

Just to be certain call the vet (any vet) and explain see if they can advise you elsewise!
Did the vet use a live vaccine in the parvo immunization? Is that something done in your state? You need to find another vet just incase he caught the disease from the vaccine.

He may have chewed something up that got caught in his digestive track and blocked it. If he has watery poo that's less likely, but still possible. You really need to find a different vet just to check him now because he could die over the weekend.
It has to be Parvo. DOes it smell real bad? Give him pedialite.
Oh my, I would be worried too. I know this sounds odd, but give him a can of green beans, or cook up some frozen ones, or fresh. Add a bit of butter and garlic if need be to entice him to eat it. Green beans alway got my boys up and going. I fear though, with those symptoms, I hope he did not eat tainted dog food. Yikes. Try green beans if you cannot get him to the vets until monday. Good luck. Go to my web site, use the contact form to contact me and I will post his photo if you want.

it sounds to me that his imune stystem is getting used to the food and right now he would be throwing up untill his body gets used to it and if that does not go away then i suggest you take him somewhere else to get medical help. i do hope he gets better and be jumping and playing around soon.
