what kind of dog food do you recommend, and is there dog food that taste like human food. bcuz i been feeding my dog human food and now she just wont eat.

My Maltese was persnickety sometimes as well. I just learned that he would eventually eat it as long as he didn't get anything else (scraps or an excessive amount of treats). I would just leave the kibble in his bowl if he wouldn't eat it at his usually time. You should also try to set up a feeding schedule. We would feed our dog every day at 5pm and that helped. When he was sick he would get fed at noon and at 5pm. If he won't touch anything then bring him to a vet as there may be something wrong. Koty would eat science diet, both dry and canned but my next dog I will feed something else like Dick Van Pattens, natural balance, chicken soup for the pet lovers soul, halo's spots stew, or Organix. Organix smells like humane food and Koty loved it but you have to be careful with Malteses and canned food. Their teeth are very prone to tarter problems and even with daily brushing and mostly hard kibble, Koty still had to have them cleaned by the vet once every few years. Canned food will accelerate the tarter formation. Good luck!

Honestly though, stop feeding the people food exclusively.He will get fat. And canned food only will rot the dogs teeth.
Put down some good, natural dry dog food and give him nothing else but the dry food and water.He'll get the idea in a few days and eat his food.Give it time and No he won't starve him self to death.
If you have been feeding your dog human food, that is the first mistake. If she is used to it, chances are if you are trying to feed her dog food.. she's not going to eat it. YOU MUST BE CAREFUL.. THE TAINTED PET FOOD RECALL IS NOT OVER.. be sure to check the label and if she doesn't get better take her to the vet. 鈾?
If she wont eat i would take her to the vet ASAP. Dogs can't tell you when they don't feel good so they give you signs like not eating. Have her checked before switching foods. Good Luck.
i feed my golden cooked chicken for over 10 years no problems at all. if i wont eat it i wont feed it to someone i love . even my vet was happy that i would take the time to give her a good diet i also used dry kibble science diet
is your dog not eating anything anything you gave? try giving your dog treats.. coz if your dog still doesnt eat..you better bring her/him to the vet.. coz once my dog start not eating she is sick.. hope your dog will eat soon..
Stop feeding human food, dogs aren't stupid and if they think they can hold off and get chicken they will.
Dogs need a balanced complete food especially when puppy's as they need more calcium etc when growing, get a complete food and that's all the dog gets.
put it down in the morning for 30mins if he/she doesn't eat it, remove it and try again in the evening, at the beginning you can add gravy to encourage her then gradually decreasing it. Dogs will not starve themselves he/she will eat when hungry and no other tasty alternatives are available.
Trust this.DO NOT FEED her anything else but the kibble, she will eat it soon enough. Good luck, you will need more will power than she has. 2 days tops, and she will eat it. Dogs will not starve themselves. Don't even bother "weening" he off the human food by putting a little in the kibble. Be tough and stick it out.
