My family recently got a schnauzer. But he hates my bicion fraise puppy and bites him often. What should i do?

My bicion just wants to play and has done nothing to him my schnauzer. he is is biting him, clawing at him and growling at him whenever he gets close. my bicion is getting beat up, and one day it is is going to get bad. We have consitered giving the schnauzer back to his previos owner. but i don't want to!!! They are both male. and yes, i know that results fights, but is there a way that i can keep them both and they can get along?
Answers:
Protect the puppy. Get a trainer, or take the dogs to classes.

Neuter both.

Google: Nothing In Life is Free and use it to keep the dogs in line better.

Only allow the dogs to be together WITH supervision.

And yes it is possible to have them get along, but the whole family needs to be part of the re-training. Some Schnauzers are very dog aggressive, esp. if they've gotten away with it. But they are smart dogs, both breeds are, so with work they can get along.

But if it isn't working out, protect the puppy so he isn't traumatized.
You need to train them.
Why are you allowing one dog to beat up the other dog? Can't you take control of the situation and stop this?? I think if you are unable to control the 2 dogs you should give the one back to it's previous owners..
Both neutered?? 2 males isn't a good idea, especially for someone with little dog experience.. 2 males can be trying at best.. tragedy at worst.
I think you should use Cesar Milan's method. He has 2 great books and a show on the National Geographic channel, The Dog Whisperer.

Put the dogs on leashes. Let them see each other, but not close. Each time the schnauzer gets a look like he's going to be aggressive - pull the leash and give him a stern NO!. Continue until he stops. You'll have to condition the schnauzer to know that being aggressive towards the Bichon is a bad thing. Good luck with your doggies! If he is very aggressive you may consider getting a pro to work with you guys one-on-one!
before worst gets to worse muzzle the aggressor until it is calmer. I lost a dog through plain jealousy. you could separate them also and introduce them slowly. I am also inclined to think how do you set up your backyard where they are kept, there is always a reason.
You need to take control of the situation...in other words you need to lead your pack. If the Szchnauzer does not want to play, he is correcting the bichon because you are not. Take control and correct your bichon.
It sounds like your Schnauzer is attempting to demonstrate his status as the alpha, or leader, of the pack to the Bichon. This is normal behavior and should sort itself out. Don't reprimand the Schnauzer for his behavior--if you interfere it could lead to more problems between the dogs. Things will settle down once the pecking order has been established.
If the behavior escalates to the point of injury, then it's probably time to either keep them separated when they can't be supervised, or find a new home for one of them.
Are they both neutered?
you could have one or both neutered, and then they would be less territorial and able to get along better. the schnauzer probably has never been in a home with another dog and he needs to get used to having a playful puppy around.
i am a fairly new owner of a schnauzer also. it is my first dog ever! we also have a tabby cat who is not the nicest thing. they fight and chase eachother. it was pretty bad at first, but we just let nature take its course. yea they fought for a while, and they still do sometimes. but i think you should let them just play for a while and hopefully it will work out. i'm sure the schnauzer just feels like he needs attention. just show him that you like him.
