My German Shepherd Faxon will only retrieve Frisbee's.?

And it is costing me a fortune as he tears them apart. I tried throwing a tennis ball but he won't even go after it. Does anyone know of a Frisbee I can purchase that he won't rip apart ??

hi! my shepherd is the same way...lol I found a Frisbee that is made by Kong (the same indestructible stuff) it is pliable and he has yet to make a whole in it and he has had it for over a year. I found it at a pet store.hope this helps!
just put in your search engine rubber Frisbees i think this will be your answer I've just done it and it came up with lots of places to buy them
If you are referring to the plastic frisbees, the pet stores also sell material frisbees, that may be more ''tolerable'' of being rough housed with.
Have you bought him a frisbee made for dogs? They're more heavy-duty and should last longer. You can teach your dog to fetch the tennis ball - start by tossing it or bouncing it, just playing with it yourself to get him curious. Act like you're having lots of fun, then toss it a short distance away. If he doesn't go for it, you get it, and act like you're playing, then throw it again. He should start to think like you're having too much fun without him and want to join in.
